On the Last Day of November... I Made Some Cute Things!
Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at 11:32AM So December starts tomorrow. I can’t believe it!
In celebration of the holidays, I’ve made some cute projects with the two new digital collections I designed with Heidi Swapp, called 12 Days of Christmas and Winter Wonderland. I’ll post a few per day so you can see them up close. Ready? :D
Gift Tag/Ornament

I used a tag-shaped clipping mask and the green chevron paper from the 12 Days collection, as well as a circle element. Printed, cut, and added gold Stickles. This could be either an ornament or a gift tag (we open PJs as a present on Christmas Eve, so this one would be perfect!)
Placecard Holder

If your table decor tends to less-traditional colors, this might be an awesome choice for a placecard holder. I used a star shape as a clipping mask for one of the turquoise papers from the Winter kit and added in a snowflake brush and its outline (also in the kit). I printed 3, cut them out, and then glued the arms of the stars together to form a 3-dimensional shape. Punched a scallop from red (in the Winter kit) and some plain white cardstock and then added glitter stickers for the name. This would be so easy to replicate for a whole table. :)
12 Days of Christmas Subway Art

If you buy the 12 Days of Christmas collection for only one reason - this paper is it! Designed by Heidi Swapp, this subway-style artwork features the words to the 12 Days song, plus a sweet little bird next to the fourth day. I printed this as a 12x12 and popped it into an Ikea frame, then printed several strips of various papers from the 12 Days collection, punched triangles and sewed them together to form a banner to accent the top of the frame.
Paper Trees

I must say I have a special place in my little crafty heart for these paper cone trees. They turned out so cute! I just printed 12x12 versions of three of the papers in the 12 Days set, and added self-adhesive pearls to two of them. These would be amazing on a tray on a coffee table, maybe with some white ornaments and silver bells around them? How else would you style these trees?
Okay, tomorrow I will have more projects with the two collections. Now that I’ve whet your whistle, go grab them! Theyare on sale for 35% off! :D

I bought the papers for the Subway Art! Where is your easel with the fleur de leis feet from?
The whole set up is gorgeous!
TIA!

I don't have an Ikea so I will order the frame online. Which frame is the subway art framed in.
